Gilbert’s Cheese Experience is a cheese-pairing pop-up that connects consumers with the things they eat and drink and the community of people who make them. Led by Brian Gilbert — head cheesemonger at Beecher's Handmade Cheese — and culinary storyteller Holly Regan, you'll learn how food and drinks are made, meet the producers and go on a fun, interactive tasting journey.
This deliciously summery event is a collaboration between Gilbert’s Cheese Experience and the Atrium Kitchen at Pike Place Market: the heart of Seattle’s food culture. Celebrate the bounty of the season with handmade jams by Chef Traci Calderon, the Atrium Kitchen’s owner and executive chef, using fresh heirloom tomatoes, wild Washington strawberries and figs from Pike Place produce vendors. We’ll pair each jam with artisan cheeses, hand-selected by Brian and Holly, and wash it all down with some refreshing agua fresca from Chef Traci.
Each ticket includes:
Three (3) samples of carefully selected artisan cheeses.
Three (3) samples of handmade jam, along with 3 jars of jam to take home.
One (1) glass of agua fresca.
An assortment of fine snacks to enjoy throughout the event.
