Join us for an exciting and delicious late-summer collaboration between Gilbert’s Cheese Experience and the Atrium Kitchen at Pike Place Market. This “cheesemonger’s dinner” features a Mexican-inspired tasting menu with cheese and scratch-made sauces, along with tequila pairings from Casa Noble.
Gilbert’s Cheese Experience holds cheese pairing pop-ups with local producers. Led by Brian Gilbert - head cheesemonger at Beecher’s Handmade Cheese - and culinary storyteller Holly Regan, you’ll learn how food and drinks are made, meet the people who make them and go on a fun, interactive tasting journey.
Chef Traci Calderon, owner and executive chef of the Atrium Kitchen, is preparing a delectable meal for the evening spotlighting Mexican cheeses. For the first course, we’ll sample three artisan cheeses, paired with scratch-made sauces and Casa Noble tequilas. Then we’ll enjoy enchiladas, quesadillas and Mexican street corn and served with a tequila cocktail.
While you enjoy an unforgettable food menu, we’ll chat about how cheese is made; learn about the importance of buying local and the Pike Place Market Community; teach you about sustainable tequila production; and have a lot of fun!
